With sleep being such a fundamental need for human beings, it is only reasonable that a lot of thought and planning should go into selecting beds, whether they are leather beds, metal beds, wooden beds, divan beds, or any other variation thereof. When you consider that a less than ideal bed could mean losing up to a few hours of sleep a night, you can see the obvious need to have a good, firm, and comfortable bed.
Here are a few things to remember the next time you are shopping for a bed:
You can’t put a premium on quality. Think of the purchase of a bed as an investment. If you think about how many nights you will be sleeping, hopefully comfortably in it, a good-quality bed will pay for itself many times over in the course of its lifetime.
Quality does not mean high-priced. While you shouldn’t skimp on the purchase of a new bed, you do not have to pay outrageous prices either. There are many beds at reasonable prices that will do a good job of keeping you comfortable.
You will have to replace your bed eventually. No matter how good the mattress is, or how attached you have become to your bed; it will outlive its usefulness after a time. A bed can also cause health issues after a while due to the build up of dust, dead skin cells, hairs, and dust mites.

Eventually everything has to be replaced but it could be 5 years away yet so dont worry
Quite often that i find getting a well known brand will be a good idea to how long it will last.
My Parents got a small portable tv from miller brothers easily in the late 70′s early 80′s and it was a philips and its only recently (in maybe 2008) desided to die, well the on off push button packed in but thats a good 20 years fora a small 15″ portable
Aslong as you get a bed you like and thats comfee does it really matter
A good Mattress is also a big payoff in a comfy bed
